Meet Grace
I help women emerge from the background of their lives to accomplish their main character goals by creating space and resources for intentional healing.
That mission didn’t appear overnight—it was shaped by life experiences, lessons in resilience, and moments that taught me the power of pausing to reset.
The First Retreat I Ever Experienced
One of my favorite childhood memories is from kindergarten or first grade. I’ve always been a storyteller—painting vivid pictures with words. The problem? I often picked the wrong time to share them—like in the middle of class. Frustrated, my teacher would walk me (and sometimes my best friend) to the principal’s office.
Here’s what stands out: the principal never yelled or shamed us. Instead, she gave us something unexpected—quiet, kindness, and a creative challenge. One day, she pulled out magazines, scissors, and glue, and asked us to make collages. Aside from a few giggles, we were calm and focused.
Looking back, that was my very first “retreat,” long before I knew the word—a moment away from chaos, a little creativity, and a gentle pause that shifted everything. It taught me early on that sometimes, what people really need isn’t more discipline or pressure. They need space.
From Stuck to Strategy
Years later, when I landed my first government job as an administrative assistant, I thought I had finally made it. But that excitement faded fast. For four years, I stayed in an environment where growth felt impossible—repeating the same conversations, managing the same egos, laughing off microaggressions, and wondering why I was always the one changing the printer cartridge.
I spiraled into a victim mindset, replaying every past decision: If I had done better in school… If I had chosen a different job… If I had invested differently. Meanwhile, I watched medical professionals around me make strides while I managed their travel schedules. Comparison stole my joy, and burnout followed.
Everything shifted when a friend encouraged me to revisit what once made me happy. Digging through old journals, I rediscovered who I was—a creative, disciplined, curious person with big dreams. That’s when I learned humility doesn’t mean silence, and being helpful doesn’t mean becoming a doormat.
I began asking two life-changing questions: What’s within my control? What isn’t? From there, I set boundaries, stopped the spiral with gratitude, and leveraged what I already had—my faith, my community, and a plan for my gifts. Because here’s the truth: if you don’t have a plan for your talents, someone else will use them as they see fit.
Why I do this Work
Those experiences inspired my passion for coaching. Today, I help women move from “I can’t” to “I’m capable.” Through cognitive behavioral strategies, emotional wellness tools, and intentional living, I help clients rewrite limiting beliefs, reclaim confidence, and create the space they need to heal and thrive.
Whether I’m facilitating a retreat, leading a workshop, or coaching one-on-one, my goal is the same: to help you press pause, realign with your purpose, and step boldly into your life with clarity and confidence.
